With the ND Department of Commerce opening the Economic Resiliency Grant application portal on August 12, it got me thinking of my LinkedIn post from two weeks ago.

In the post, I was suggesting to keep in mind any products, software, etc. that you are able to purchase regionally from companies that may have COVID-response solutions. I used an example from Office Sign Company, but then have continued by adding comments of other links.

Using that comments-of-links method is not very reader-friendly, so I thought I’d aggregate those into this Medium post for easier reading and sharing. So, below I will list the various links (hyperlinked in their name) of area companies promoting solutions. I encourage you to share others with me if you think it should be added — jmachacek@gfmedc.com.

BWR Innovations — Fuel Cell Thermal Sanitizer. By combining the dry heat of a fuel cell thermal sterilizer & the power of a UV-C light, the portable fuel cell generator/heater system inactivates a full spectrum of biological contaminants including viruses, bacteria, parasites & fungi consistently on every surface it reaches — removing odors and providing a fresh room.

ConnectLabs Powered By Revel — Front Line touchless temperate scan kiosks, tabletops and wall-mounts. Ideal for entrances to grocery stores, assisted living facilities, office buildings, schools, or in taxis prior to riding, this device uses advanced medical sensors to take a person’s temperature and ensure they are not putting others at risk.

Infinite Leap /Prompt.Health — Contact tracing, virtual waiting rooms, visitor management, messaging, peer-to-peer contact monitoring.

New World Business Solutions — Hand sanitizer systems and supplies, including a walk-through unit.

Office Sign Company — As we all endure one of the largest issues of our generation, we are doing our best to help create and share products that assist with working from home and also communicating well with your own customers. At Office Sign Company, we manufacture virtually any sign product you may need. Floor signs, doorway or sidewalk graphics and more to help alert potential customers and even employees alike, of your ever-changing situations and environments.

OmniByte Technology — Their FormsPro can help your team reduce contact and go touchless. Use real-time data to report positive cases and failed health checks.

Red River Technology — Text4Service COVID-busting contactless services to help customers feel safer while helping you cut back on staff costs. Customers can order food and drinks, pay their bill, see your website/social media and more with just their phones! Your staff only has to come to the table to deliver food.

ZulaFly — Real-time people & asset locating and contact tracing solutions.

If the grant is of interest, you should do your planning ASAP as applications have come in quickly. As of this moment (8/13 at 4pm), they’ve had over 1,300 applications totaling approximately $50 million in applications (of the total available $69 million). Please closely review the program guidelines to determine eligible expenses and the process.
